Europe comprises many countries over seven geographical regions. It would be ignorant to bunch us all together under an arbitrary classification such as “white”. We differ a great deal physically (incl. skin colour) and culturally.
Culturally speaking, a Norwegian has little in common with a Bosnian. Or a Greek with a German. I know you didn’t necessarily argue against this, but I wanted to point it out as there seem to be misconceptions about Europe. It is not some united “white” force. We are generally quite divided. And most of us, I would argue, do not think of ourselves as “Europeans”, but rather as Swedes, Poles, Serbs, etc. Also, to emphasise our historical differences, we have engaged in warfare against each other quite a few times over the past century over ethnicity, religion, and politics.
Today, many countries welcome immigration (incl. from non-European countries), others not so much. And many cities across Europe see multiculturalism as the norm.
So saying “Europe,” tells an incomplete story about this vast expanse of sovereign countries.
