It’s not so much about not wanting to be “lumped together” with “all white people” (which is, as I pointed out before, an incredibly simplistic categorisation of what amounts to very different ethnicities and cultures), but rather that I believe it was a fruitless, dishonest, and misleading overgeneralisation used by the author to create a straw man. Something I take issue with regardless of whom it’s aimed at.

To answer your question: I’m always open to share views and opinions, so I’m all ears.
