So “white” is a racial slur that is used to denigrate or describe a Caucasian’s (claimed) inherent shortcomings or downright evils?
How is that different from, say, the “N-word” or other taboo racial slurs? They are all used in a negative context to describe someone from a specific race.
I don’t think it’s a very good approach to completely redefine a term that the majority of the world’s population refer to as one specific race, and use it as a description of something so negative.
I personally think “white” is over-simplistic, as it doesn’t take into account all the different cultures, histories, religions etc of Europe. I prefer using ethnicities, if I must. But I really just try to refer to people as individuals.
I’m considered white (Swedish), so is someone from Kosovo. But we have almost nothing in common culturally etc.
